Colgate-Palmolive Loses Appeal in Long-Running Pension Lawsuit

Colgate-Palmolive Co. retirees who’ve spent nearly a decade litigating over their pensions on Friday successfully fended off the company’s Second Circuit appeal seeking reversal of an order establishing how their benefits must be calculated.

The consumer product maker objected to a 2024 decision in which a Manhattan federal judge resolved two technical issues surrounding pension calculations in favor of the retirees.
