Colgate-Palmolive 401(k) Theft Suit Reaches Tentative Settlement

A federal judge dismissed litigation over an alleged theft of more than $750,000 from a former Colgate-Palmolive Co. employee’s 401(k) account because the parties announced that they’d reached a tentative settlement.

Judge Colleen McMahon signed the dismissal order Wednesday, saying the case could be reopened in the future if the settlement isn’t finalized. Her order, issued in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, didn’t include details about the terms of the agreement.
