Coca-Cola Consolidated Inc. reached a settlement to resolve a proposed class action challenging the fees associated with the independent bottler’s $784 million 401(k) plan, a notice filed in federal court in North Carolina indicates.
The parties engaged in mediation and are in the process of finalizing a settlement agreement, they told Judge Frank D. Whitney of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina on Wednesday. They asked for all case deadlines to be paused until March 7 so they can prepare paperwork to submit the settlement for court approval.
