Cintas, Workers Float Deal to Settle 401(k) Plan Fee Challenge

Cintas Corp. and employees challenging the uniform maker’s 401(k) plan fees reached a tentative agreement to settle a dispute that once caught the attention of the US Supreme Court.

The parties asked that the case be put on hold while they finalize their class-wide settlement, which they negotiated with the help of a private mediator. They expect to file the agreement for court approval by Jan. 19, 2024, they said in a motion filed Nov. 3 in the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
