Cigna Latest Insurer to See Liposuction Coverage Suit Move Ahead

Cigna Corp. must face a proposed class action claiming it wrongly fails to cover specialized liposuction procedures after a California federal judge ruled the suing patient wasn’t required to produce scientific literature supporting the case in its early stages.

Similar suits against other insurers have settled or also advanced recently.
