Cedars-Sinai Medical Looks to Sink Retirement Plan Fee Challenge

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Inc. asked a federal judge to dismiss litigation over its retirement plan fees, saying the nurse who filed suit wasn’t damaged by any of the funds or fees he challenges.

The nurse invested only about 15% of his retirement account in one of the funds challenged by the lawsuit, and this fund received revenue sharing rebates that caused its fees to be lower than those of the fund he held up as a better alternative, Cedars-Sinai said.
