Cedars-Sinai Advances $2.97 Million Retirement Fee Settlement

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Inc.‘s $2.97 million class settlement with workers challenging their retirement plan fees and investment options received initial approval from a federal judge who also requested revised paperwork related to the deal.

The agreement, which represents about 34% of the case’s total potential damages, is slated to benefit about 25,000 people covered by the Cedars-Sinai plan since June 2017.
