Cape Cod Healthcare Inc. workers finalized a $900,000 class settlement resolving their lawsuit over the fees and investment options in the Massachusetts medical provider’s retirement plan.
The agreement covers thousands of participants in Cape Cod’s retirement plan between December 2017 and September 2024. It represents about 25% of their maximum potential recovery, and it requires Cape Cod to retain an outside consultant to advise on plan fees and services for at least five years.
