Caesars 401(k) Plan Investors, Russell Agree to Fund-Swap Class

Caesars Holdings Inc. and Russell Investments Trust Co. agreed to have litigation over the gaming and entertainment company’s 401(k) plan investments certified as a class action covering tens of thousands of people.

The proposed class would cover all the Caesars’ plan’s participants and beneficiaries between August 2017 and December 2021, with anyone responsible for plan administration or investment decisions excluded, the parties said in a stipulation filed Thursday in the US District Court for the District of Nevada. It matches the class sought by plan participants in a 2023 motion and would cover about 42,000 people, according to that motion. ...
