A lawsuit challenging fees tied to two Boston College retirement plans is now a certified class action covering thousands of people.
Judge William Young on Friday certified a class of all people covered by the plans since June 2016, excluding the defendants and their immediate family members. More than 3,000 people participate in each plan, according to the lawsuit.
Boston College trustees didn’t object to having the class certified, according to the plan participants’ motion.
