Boston Bruins Fan Fest Producer Must Face Wage, Benefits Suit

Martin Sports & Entertainment LLC, the company that produced the Boston Bruins’ Fan Fest before the 2019 National Hockey League playoffs, must face a federal suit seeking wages and retirement contributions on behalf of union stagehands who worked the event.

Judge Indira Talwani of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts on Tuesday denied the event company’s motion to dismiss claims for unpaid contributions from pension and 401(k) plans for unionized stage and theatrical employees.
