Boeing Engineer Validly Denied Disability Benefits From Hartford

A Boeing Co. cybersecurity systems engineer lost his Seventh Circuit appeal seeking disability benefits from Hartford Life & Accident Insurance Co. following his hospitalization for heart failure.

The engineer’s cardiologist reported that he was improving after his hospital stay and that he may be able to return to work if he hit certain recovery milestones that he eventually hit, the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit said Wednesday in an unpublished opinion.
