Ardent Health agreed to settle a 17,000-person class action by workers challenging the Nashville-based hospital system’s retirement plan, averting an upcoming trial over the plan’s fees and investment options.
The parties requested a pause of all case deadlines and said they plan to submit the class-wide settlement agreement for court approval by Oct. 15. Their joint motion, filed Monday in the US District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, didn’t include details about the terms of the agreement.
