Aon Hewitt Wants Pension Plan Termination Suit Tossed

Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting Inc. and a subsidiary urged a federal judge in Florida to toss a lawsuit accusing them of giving faulty pension plan termination advice.

The advice allegedly left the plan sponsor with a multi-million dollar liability.

Aon’s Oct. 22 request seeks an early win in a lawsuit filed by Foundation Resolution Corp., which operated the Citrus County Hospital in Florida until 2014.
