American Airlines Pilot Seeks BlackRock ESG 401(k) Documents

An American Airlines Inc. pilot is seeking a court order forcing the airline to turn over documents related to its 401(k) plan’s ties to BlackRock Inc. and investments aimed at environmental, social, and corporate governance strategies.

American has refused to provide relevant information and unilaterally imposed limitations on the documents turned over in the discovery process, plaintiff Bryan Spence said.
