American Airlines Pilots Denied Quick Appeal of Paid Leave Class

American Airlines Group Inc. pilots seeking paid military leave from the airline failed to secure an immediate appeal of a decision revoking their case’s class action status.

The US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit Monday denied the pilots’ request for permission to appeal an August decision decertifying the class. The appeals court’s one-page order, issued Monday, didn’t include a written explanation for the move.
