Allegiant Travel Co. received final approval for a $1.7 million class settlement with workers challenging their 401(k) plan’s administrative fees and investment options.

The deal, which represents about 56% of the workers’ estimated damages, is slated to cover all the Allegiant plan’s participants and beneficiaries since October 2016—a class that includes more than 4,000 people. Judge Jennifer A. Dorsey granted final approval to the deal and awarded class counsel nearly $590,000 in fees and costs in an order issued Monday in the US District Court for the District of Nevada.
