Allegiant Gets First Nod for $1.7 Million 401(k) Fee Settlement

A federal judge preliminarily approved Allegiant Travel Co.'s $1.7 million class settlement with workers challenging the administrative fees and investment options in their 401(k) plan.

The deal, which represents about 56% of the workers’ estimated damages, is slated to cover all the Allegiant plan’s participants and beneficiaries since October 2016—a proposed class that includes more than 4,000 people. Judge Jennifer A. Dorsey of the US District Court for the District of Nevada granted preliminary approval to the deal in an order docketed Tuesday.
