BOSTON—Officials at the Connecticut health exchange stressed Aug. 5 that consumers in that state will continue to have a broad number of choices when Access Health CT (AHCT), the state’s exchange, opens for enrollment this fall, despite a recent decision by Aetna to withdraw from the program.
In announcing Aetna’s decision to withdraw, AHCT’s chief executive officer. Kevin Counihan, said that Anthem, ConnectiCare, and Healthy CT continued to be enrolled in the state health exchange.
