ADP 401(k) Fee Lawsuit Certified as 50,000-Person Class Action

Participants in Automatic Data Processing Inc.'s 401(k) plan secured a court order certifying a class of 50,000 people in their lawsuit challenging the plan’s management and fee levels.

Judge Esther Salas of the US District Court for the District of New Jersey on Thursday certified a class covering ADP plan participants and beneficiaries since May 2014. The parties previously told Salas they’d agreed to litigate the case on a class-wide basis.
