Latham & Watkins M&A Co-Chair: AI Will Change Our Business

Artificial intelligence will change how Latham & Watkins’ business operates, the law firm’s global co-chair of M&A and private equity, Alex Kelly, said Wednesday.

“There’s not a deal that’s getting done at Latham today that’s not incorporating AI to make us better, faster, smarter,” Kelly told Bloomberg Television’s Dani Burger in an interview at the SuperReturn conference in Berlin.

Latham’s 4,000-person global operations across product classes give it “so much proprietary data” that the firm wants to use to drive deal decisions, according to Kelly.
