Washington Football Team majority owner Dan Snyder lost a bid for a broad sweep of the cellphone records of the wife of the team’s former General Manager for use in a defamation suit in India, after the District of Colorado found the request to be a “fishing expedition.”
Jessica McCloughan, wife of former GM Scot McCloughan, has “substantially complied” with a subpoena by providing screen shots from her phone of text and Twitter communications with Snyder’s former executive assistant Mary Ellen Blair and The Washington Post, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado said.
