CargoSprint Beats Rival’s Suit Over Shipping Logistics Platform

CargoSprint LLC dodged antitrust litigation over claims that it leverages its warehouse logistics software to monopolize payment processing services for cargo shippers and freight carriers, when a federal judge in Georgia threw out the case instead of sending it to trial.

Judge Timothy C. Batten Sr. granted summary judgment to CargoSprint, rejecting allegations that the company engaged in unlawful “tying” by requiring shippers using its unique logistics platform to also use its payment processing software, which has direct competitors.

“The record in this case conclusively shows that no tying agreement exists,” either “express or implied,” Batten wrote.
