Tigo Energy Inc. and SunSpec Alliance asked a federal judge to dismiss their dispute over patents covering a rapid shutdown solar panel system.
Judge William H. Orrick accepted their joint stipulation of dismissal, with prejudice, on Monday and entered an order in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
Tigo sued SunSpec in 2023, alleging the organization infringed their patents by directing laboratories to test third-party products that practiced the inventions’ claims. The court largely denied SunSpec’s motion to dismiss that same year.
