NY-NJ Commuters Will See PATH Train Fares Jump to $4 by 2029 (1)

New Jersey and New York commuters who ride the PATH train will see four annual 25-cent fare hikes starting next year, raising ticket prices to $4 by 2029.

The board for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey voted on Thursday to approve the 33% increase over four years to boost operations and services on the PATH train, which millions of riders use each year. Rides are heavily subsidized by the Port Authority.
