Meta Settlement Up for Approval This Week
A $190 million settlement that prevented Mark Zuckerberg from having to testify at trial over claims stemming from the Facebook’s Cambridge Analytica scandal may get final approval this week in the Delaware Chancery Court, Jennifer Kay reports.
Chancellor Kathaleen St. Jude McCormick’s approval is required to finalize the settlement to resolve claims that Zuckerberg and other Meta directors repeatedly failed to fix violations of Facebook users’ privacy and engineered an accord with the US government to shield him from personal liability.
