Trump Floats Health Plan, Minus Credits
President Donald Trump on Thursday released his own health-care policy outline that said nothing about the enhanced Obamacare premium tax credits, staking out his position on an issue that has been vexing Congress.
Instead of extending the enhanced tax credits that expired at the end of last year, Trump’s proposal calls for sending subsidies directly to consumers so they can purchase health insurance, though it doesn’t get into specifics.
