X, Former NYC Twitter Office Cleaners Reach Back Pay Suit Deal

X Corp. and workers who cleaned the social media platform’s Manhattan office before the company canceled their contract reached a settlement ending a back pay lawsuit for an undisclosed amount, prompting a Thursday dismissal.

The Elon Musk-helmed company ended the contract the month after he completed his 2022 takeover of the company, then known as Twitter. Nearly a dozen former cleaners sued in 2023, and their attorney informed the US District Court for the Southern District of New York of the settlement Wednesday.
