Wynn Las Vegas Server Gets Damages in Suit Over Medical Leave

A cocktail server was awarded $321,200 in her suit against Wynn Las Vegas LLC, after a jury found the gaming company interfered with her right to take leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act, but didn’t engage in disability bias.

Tiare Ramirez sued Wynn in 2019 with claims of disability discrimination, retaliation, and negligence after she was allegedly fired for taking FMLA leave for her chronic ankle condition.
