Labor Department management officials racially discriminated against and sexual harassed a workplace safety inspector, then unjustifiably issued a poor performance review that blocked her from receiving a promotion, a new complaint says.

Abigail Sanders, a Black female compliance safety and health officer with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, sued the DOL in the US District Court for the District of Columbia, claiming personnel in the agency created a hostile work environment and unlawfully retaliated against her after she complained.
