Workflows: Partner Who Sued Proskauer for Gender Bias Joins Polsinelli

Sept. 27, 2018, 10:10 AM UTC

Connie Bertram, the employment partner who settled a sex discrimination lawsuit against Proskauer Rose in August, joined Polsinelli as a shareholder in D.C.

Polsinelli has “a great collaborative culture,” Bertram said in a statement provided to Bloomberg Law. The terms of her bias lawsuit haven’t been disclosed. She alleged she was paid less than male colleagues and that her complaints about salary were met with retaliation.

Bertram’s practice focuses on government contractors, whistleblowers, trade secrets, and False Claims Act litigation. Her addition to the Polsinelli group is part of the firm’s continuing emphasis on expanding its national labor and employment practice, the firm said in a statement.
