Workers Seeking Green Cards Will Need an Interview

Immigrant workers seeking employment-based green cards will have to undergo interviews with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services before their applications are adjudicated, the agency announced.

Starting Oct. 1, the agency will phase in in-person interviews as part of an effort to better detect fraud and enhance the integrity of the immigration system, the USCIS said Aug. 28.
