The White House has tapped the current acting chief of the Wage and Hour Division, Jessica Looman, to lead the agency permanently as administrator, according to a Wednesday announcement.
Looman, a former executive director of the Minnesota building trades coalition, was appointed to serve as Principal Deputy Administrator of the wage division in January 2021, but has been leading the agency in an acting capacity since June 2021.
