The White House is working to nominate new members to the National Labor Relations Board, which is currently hobbled by a lack of quorum, the board’s chair said.
Despite the push, it could take several months before any candidates are confirmed by the Senate.
NLRB Chair Marvin Kaplan said during an appearance at an American Bar Association conference Wednesday that the Senate’s current backlog for nominees’ hearings will take four months to clear.
