White Georgia Football Coach Can’t Revive New Suit Over Ouster

A Georgia high school football coach who lost his job after a new majority-Black board of education voted not to renew his contract, allegedly because he’s White, can’t pursue discrimination claims against the board, the Eleventh Circuit ruled Monday.

The lawsuit against the City of Valdosta Board of Education was the former coach’s second over his 2020 displacement, the court said.
