Whistleblowers Lose Bid to Reinstate Crop Insurance Damages Win

Whistleblowers Kenneth Kraemer and Kraemer Farms LLC lost their bid to revive a $1 million damages win for unjust enrichment in a False Claims Act suit.

A federal district court was right that it lacked jurisdiction to hear the whisteblowers’ unjust enrichment case under the FCA, the US Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit said Wednesday.
