A former assistant police chief who alleges he was wrongfully terminated because he reported criminal family violence by another public employee convinced a Texas appeals court to send the case back for trial.
Shea Scott allegedly received emails from Sam Jeter, the husband of Jennifer Jeter, the city of Celina’s human resources director in June 2020. The emails indicated that Jennifer pointed a loaded gun at Sam and possessed illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, Scott alleged.
