Wells Fargo Workers Press On After First Union Vote (Correct)

Wells Fargo & Co. workers have their first unionized branch, but a withdrawn union petition at an Alaska outlet shows just how much effort lies ahead for workers trying to organize the country’s fourth-largest bank.

Employees at a Wells Fargo branch in Albuquerque, N.M., voted Dec. 20 to join the Communications Workers of America Wells Fargo Workers United—the first-ever union at a large US bank. But union organizers at a branch in Bethel, Alaska, unexpectedly withdrew their petition for a vote that was scheduled for the following day.
