Wellpath, LLC has agreed to pay $75,000 to resolve a religious discrimination suit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the agency said Wednesday in a press statement.
Wellpath, a provider of health services in correctional facilities, hired a nurse who is a practicing Apostolic Pentecostal Christian to work in the GEO Central Texas Correctional Facility in downtown San Antonio.
