Waste Management Underpaid Trash Truck Dispatchers, Suit Says

Waste Management, Inc. and its local subsidiaries owe hundreds of dispatchers unpaid wages for work performed while they were off the clock, according to a new lawsuit filed in a federal court in Chicago.

Miguel Montelongo, who has worked as a dispatcher in Cook County, Ill., since 2010, sued WMI, Waste Management of Illinois Inc., and unnamed local subsidiaries on behalf of similarly situated employees across the country.
