Washington Univ. Retirement Plan Suit Heads to 8th Cir.

Employees of Washington University in St. Louis will ask a federal appeals court to revive their lawsuit challenging how the school runs its retirement plan.

The employees plan to appeal a Sept. 28 decision dismissing their proposed class action against the school, they told a federal judge Oct. 25.

Washington University’s retirement plan carried excessive fees and offered duplicative and poorly performing investment options, the employees say.
