Washington University in St. Louis secured an early end to a lawsuit alleging it harassed and retaliated against an Orthodox Jewish worker because of her religion before her 2019 firing.
The worker alleges a supervisor disliked her because of her faith, unfairly criticized her, and made it more difficult for her to take time off for religious observances. But her evidence doesn’t establish any genuine dispute as to whether WashU actually harassed or retaliated against her in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights act of 1964, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri said Thursday. ...
