Walsh to Meet With White House Union Task Force on Next Report

Labor Secretary Marty Walsh will be meeting with the White House union task force “later today” to discuss how to implement the group’s recommendations, he told a House Appropriations Subcommittee Tuesday.

Walsh said the meeting is the “first follow-up” since the White House Task Force on Worker Organizing and Empowerment published a 43-page report in February, offering about 60 recommendations on expanding both federal and private-sector workers’ access to information about their US labor law protections and how to form unions.
