Walmart Workers Lack Details to Back Up California Wage Claims

Two Wal-Mart Associates Inc. workers failed to provide enough detailed allegations to advance the wage-and-hour complaint they filed on behalf of other California workers, a federal judge said.

The workers didn’t “identify a single workday or week in which” the superstore denied them proper breaks, and most of their other claims depended on successfully alleging those, the US District Court for the Central District of California said. However, the workers have 21 days to amend their complaint with more details about most claims, the Monday order said.
