Walgreens Shortchanged Retail Workers on Overtime Pay, Suit Says

Walgreens is facing allegations that it knowingly underpaid more than 100 retail workers by miscalculating their overtime rates, brought in a lawsuit filed in New York federal court.

The drugstore chain also failed to provide its hourly paid cashiers, customer service associates, and greeters with timely wages, accurate wage statements, and proper wage notices at hiring, according to the complaint filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
