Volvo Fights Off Fired Autistic Christian Worker’s Bias Lawsuit

Volvo Group North America LLC defeated a lawsuit alleging a former employee faced religious and disability discrimination, after a federal judge ruled the worker lacked evidence of severity or pervasiveness.

The worker, who is autistic and a devout Christian, failed to show that he faced sufficiently awful harassment before his firing to support his hostile work environment claim under the state law in effect at the time, the US District Court for the District of Maryland said.
