Volkswagen Union Vote Sees New Hurdle With Anti-UAW Group (1)

An anti-union group that was a key player in defeating the United Auto Workers’ 2014 bid to represent workers at Volkswagen‘s Chattanooga, Tenn., plant has resurfaced. The group announced its return on its website April 30.

Southern Momentum describes itself as “a grassroots organization to defeat the United Auto Workers.” It’s unclear how many employees are members of the group. Only one employee, Keri Menendez, is mentioned in the statement announcing the group’s return.
