Amendments to the seasonal agricultural guest worker visa program that give employers flexibility in hiring workers will extend through mid-2023 under a new temporary final rule.
The Department of Homeland Security’s temporary final rule is extending until August 2023 some of the provisions it put in place in April to help U.S. agricultural employers avoid disruptions in their workforce and to protect the nation’s food supply chain.
