Victoria’s Secret Settles N.Y. Workers’ Class Suit Over Wages

Victoria’s Secret Stores LLC will avoid facing a class of more than 1,000 employees who alleged wage and hour violations after a federal court in New York dismissed the case Friday following a settlement.

Employee Yvonne Silva sued the company on behalf of workers who spent at least 25% of their time engaged in physical labor. Victoria’s Secret failed to compensate class members for all hours worked, and denied them commissions earned and overtime hours worked, the complaint alleged.
