Victor in Supreme Court Bostock Bias Case Settles Georgia Suit

The namesake of the US Supreme Court’s Bostock decision affirming federal protections against LGBTQ workplace bias has agreed to settle his lawsuit against the Georgia county that fired him in 2013.

Attorneys for Gerald Bostock and Clayton County, Ga., successfully mediated their dispute and are finalizing the paperwork for a settlement, according to an Oct. 14 court order to administratively close the case in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
